Who was Jesus, and who cares anyway?
Imagine yourself looking at the euro 2008 final. The players come onto the field, and get ready to play. The whistle blows, but suddenly you notice something strange. There is no goal post at the ends of the field. The players are just passing the ball, but there is no goal to score in. “How stupid” you say as you turn off the TV.
Strikingly enough, this is the way most of us decide to live our lives. If I ask you “what is the meaning of your life?”, it is possible that you would not be able to answer. Some 2000 years ago, a guy called Jesus claimed he had the answer to that question. He actually even claimed he was the Son of God. Hmmm, we have several options: he was either a crazy psycho freak, he was lying, the accounts that we have of him ar not true, or He was really who he claimed to be.
