Thank you for sharing. Gotta make some comments though... Is it me or the guy in the last vid (the apologetic thing) doesn't mention REPENTANCE and SIN and JUDGMENT and GODLY SORROW at all? Look, such a vid would be useful for a christian, but the idea of explaining the Gospel that way is dangerous as the farther place we can bring the sinners is a place where all we gave them is a mere mental assent and shallow knowledge of who God really is ... and btw, i really like the first vid (rap) but i must disagree with the guy's statement when he says we can have everything but when we lack Jesus our lives isn't perfect, I'd say, if we don't have Jesus we have NO LIFE AT ALL (John 3:36)
Thank you.

Hello "Sincerely Logical Sense",

Thanks for your comment, I appreciate you writing here.

When it comes to my comment about having no meaning in life, if we are in fact just a collection of cells, then what gives an ultimate value to the meaning we try to give to life? In other words (to take a wild example), if I decide that meaning for life is to pick flowers, what says that that is more worthwhile than something else? Only me...And since I am only a collection of cells and matter, why should my opinions be valuable anyway?

It actually doesn't say in the bible that the earth is 6000 years old and not all Christians believe that.

If being religious is telling the world that I lack logical sense, then answer these questions: What was there before the big bang? What is the statistical probability of life forms appearing on the earth and evolving into who we are today? There are actually quite a large amount of scientists that believe in God. In fact Einstein himself was a Theist (although he didn't believe in a "Christian God"). Did he lack logical sense?

When it comes to Jesus, the same documents that you use to credit his existence are the ones that show that he was more than just a good man. He did not gain followership only because of good words, but because of a lifestyle and deeds that demonstrated that he was more than a good person. In fact someone said it this way once: "Jesus did not leave us the option to believe that he was only a good man. He himself affirmed that he was the Son of God. This leaves us with three options: 1/he was a lunatic, but the consistency of his lifestyle shows us that he was not. 2/ He was a liar, but his moral excellence, and the fact that even his enemies could not pinpoint him show us that this is not a viable option. 3/ He really was the son of God.

Another question: Why were the followers of Jesus willing to be killed for saying that he was risen from the dead? They had nothing to gain by it...

Finally, I do not deny that not only Christians can do good, but I will continue to affirm that believing that we are only a collection of cells provides no ultimate meaning...

I do not either feel blinded, but on the contrary that my eyes have been opened to see the truth. I hope that you can see it one day too. Have you ever sincerely tried to ask God if He is out there and if He cares for you?

Thanks again for your comment, and I hope we can continue to discuss this in a friendly manner!

As an Norwegian I must say you got it all wrong!
Theres in fact just a few things that is close to the truth.
Jesusruss is mainly a joke, 3/4 of them is just pretending and
the remaining makes about 1% of the Russ.
Besides you make it look far worse than it actually is.
Being a Russ is far more than sex and alcohol.

"I’ve found something in Jesus that is maybe hard to understand if
you believe we come from nowhere, have no meaning in life,
and will find no meaning in death."

Life can have a meaning without God, You can make you own meaning for your life.
To not believe in God means that you believe we evolved from
small organisms made up by atoms like the rest of the universe.
The meaning of death is that your body is old cant pump blood
through your body, which provides your cells with oxygen.
And how come we have found 65 million year old bones when
the earth was made 6000 years ago according to Christianity.

I don't doubt that a man named Jesus lived 2000 years ago, because
there are ancient documents supporting it, but the only gift he had was
his tongue and the only true miracle Jesus did was
making millions of people believe in him.
He just used the same technique as most politicians use today.

Religion is an human made illusion made to gain power.
Being religious is telling the world of your lack of logical sense.

I feel sorry for you, because you have been blinded,
and are incapable of seeing there is good things in life
outside your illusion.

I hope on day you will be able to see that God does not exist,
that it is ordinary people who loves you, and that you should care more for them!
